In this hackathon we encourage teams to generate ideas and develop practical solutions which can help customers to make well informed, sustainable purchasing decisions while shopping. Both, Rimi and SEB care about Sustainability in all aspects – environmental, social and governance.

Expected result?
Developed concept with a prototype, which is either focused on physical or online shopping experience, or both. Done early tests of prototype with end-users, gathered and presented learnings.The solution should incorporate both - financial and environmental sustainability aspects, driving consumer behavior towards preferring more local goods and impacting persons financial health in long-term.
What help can you expect with the challenge?
SEB will provide lecture to participants about financial planning to better understand aspects of good financial health and planning. Some link to materials where colleagues have explained the key aspects:
Rimi Baltic will provide a lecture about sustainability as a core of Rimi business, as well give examples, how sustainability has led to new products, solutions etc. Mentoring from experts in the field.

In the age of data our own health and habits are one of the fields where gathering information can give us direct and immediate insights for future improvements. The rise of Internet of Things with our smartwatches, heart rate monitors and even meditation apps have been blowing up in the last couple of years, however there are many more health habits that we could improve upon apart from the classical well known health habit tips and tricks. Various hospitals and research groups gather data on our patients, direct links to health habits and different diseases, nevertheless these data are not always taken advantage of.
